Tuesday, June 19, 2010 - Baseball and School
I had a lot of fun at the baseball game but it was 33 degrees Celsius so whatever that is in Fahrenheit. Nahashoyo, my high school, won 5-0 by many infield hits. I was alone there, but there was a lot of classmates there. I was sunburned pretty badly on my face, feet, and forearms. This week in school I'm practicing Hirogana which is one of three different writing styles. Also, the students are telling me some Japanese words to say and when I say them they all start dying laughing. I have no clue what the words mean, but its pretty funny. One thing about Nauto, my 20-year-old brother, is that he loves Airsoft guns. He has big guns. I don't know what they're called but him and his friends play. ONE MORE THING Mom stop posting on how well I wrote.

Ok, I'll quit commenting on how well you wrote. I want to know about how baseball is going for you. Have you practiced with the team? How'd you do? Do they have a uniform for you? Make sure you have someone take pictures of you playing baseball so that you can show everyone, and remember playing!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know what a typical day at school, at home, and on the ball field is like and if you are the only American there? Thanks, Kim Wade
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kim Wade. Give us some insight on everyday life: school and home. My big question: bathtub or shower? both? Bathe everyday? When I lived in the middle east it was a once a week thing for the natives. In my head I think Asian's are much more conscious of cleanliness. Sleep on a mat on the floor or in a bed?
ReplyDeleteI sent you an e-mail. Do you go to school on Saturdays? There have been a lot of requests on what people want to know. I hope everything is going well and that you're having fun!
ReplyDeleteHey Landon,
ReplyDeletesounds like your having an adventure. Did u get to play baseball? I assume school is in English- or you wouldn't understand anything! Take care!
Hey Landon,
ReplyDeleteBe sweet to your mom. She misses you. I'm curious too, shower or tub? And how is the hole in the ground? Are you getting pretty good at that? More details!!! Miss you on the ballfield. Have fun, Mrs. A
